moonlighting

sometimes it’s fun to shoot, just because. I had a free saturday last season and  moonlighted as a floral assistant for becca of Petal Floral Design and grabbed my camera “just in case”. I snapped a few of her floral lovelies at Overbrook House in Buzzards Bay…Overbrook is such a unique venue and I’m now counting the days until I shoot erin’s wedding [from the also pretty amazing Forêt!] at OH this upcoming may…which is  just a *blink* away.

the in-between

a wedding day is a flurry of emotion, activity + scheduled formalities…though my favorite moments are almost always found, in the in-between.

a beverage break

head on over to snippet & ink for another maggie concoction…we teamed up to create a series of wedding signature cocktails but this great sip is equally enjoyed on a lazy summer’s day too. more cocktails to come, so stay tuned…and in the meantime, cheers!

a Mount Washington Hotel wedding

oh how I adore a Winter wedding…a blanket of white against the texture of pine and the mountains. I loved shooting for Suzanne + Luke alongside the lovely Stacey at the Mt. Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods New Hampshire…the juxtaposition of the rustic against the elegant backdrop of this historic hotel was perfection from their sleigh ride, intimate candlelit ceremony + dinner following, to a launching of wish lanterns and late night at a fire pit with cocktails and all the fixings for s’mores…and as if on cue, the weekend closed with a snowstorm…all was amazing.  xo to Suzanne + Luke for having us!

a Chive Events wedding

When I was invited to shoot some of the highlights + details for the wedding of one of the lovely ladies of Chive – I was thrilled!  Chive puts on an event like no other and this was no different…an afternoon filled with great company, fabulous food, and divine drink.  and so charming – in lieu of gifts, guests were asked to bring something sweet for dessert.  their vintage details were perfection from the bride’s dress to the collection of antique linens.  Thank you Ladies for having me along and heartfelt congrats to Lindsey + Mike.  xo, H.
