green
spring is my favorite time of year…the showers have finally come and brought much to life. the first of this season in our *new* old home and I am watching a carpet of green surround it, all sorts of perennials starting to bloom, and our ivy is climbing…with every spurt of growth, a new surprise and my love of all things green continues. all this lush surrounds a brick patio that appears it has been here forever and offers a shady place to sit and escape the afternoon sun. cheers to a summer filled with simple cocktails + steamer chairs, which I have been itching to take out of the shed.
