The women of Chive – innovative, committed, crazy talented – and all served up with a side of grace. They hosted their 2nd Sustainable Sunday Supper “Hooked” in late July where I was introduced to their focus of sustainable event design and catering. The event included local purveyors who not only donated their time, but their wares as well… and the proceeds helped raise the needed funds to purchase a tractor for the Food Project, a Boston-based non-profit which provides urban youth the opportunity to experience sustainable agriculture. I am enamored with their commitment to the community and responsible business practices without comprising style and of course, fabulous flavor. Their next Sunday Supper, Fire + Flannel, is planned for October 30th and should be a must-attend on your calendar…see you there!
